As I walked alongside a road in Big Pine Key, this Key Deer fawn strolled across the road, and went down a path in the woods. I carefully followed, at a safe distance behind. The fawn kept looking at me, as if to say, "Well, are you coming?" It was quite the invitation. I used my long lens to zoom in so as not to disturb this fawn, who was actually going into the woods to be closer to its mother, whom I then saw a safe distance off. My whole encounter was a precious gift.
If you print on paper, I recommend selecting the Watercolor, Picture Rag, or Somerset Velvet or glossy paper, under the Art Prints. The prints are much richer on better paper, and this painterly image will look best on one of the glossy or photographic papers. This image would also look lovely printed on canvas or metal (glossy). My favorite is how it looks printed on any of the premium papers.
