During a foggy sunrise, I came upon this beautiful scene. I was at Anhinga Trail in Florida Everglades National Park. There are so many birds there in the morning. It always feels like paradise, so peaceful and tranquil. I like this pure photographic version. I also created an old masters look from this image by layering and blending many layers of textures over it. That piece is entitled "Sunrise Gifts".
If you choose to print this image on paper, please spring for one of the premium papers, especially Watercolor paper or Somerset Velvet, as the prints are much richer on better paper. This image would also look lovely printed on canvas or metal.

Louise Lindsay is a photographer, living in the Florida Keys, and spending some time in the mountains of North Carolina. She practices mindful photography, sometimes known as contemplative photography. Mindful photography involves the practice of being as fully present as possible in the moment of creating an image. The subjects range from landscapes, seascapes, street photography, macro and flower photography, to nature photography, to almost anything.
