Artist's Description
This booby bird landed on a boat with an injured wing, and was then brought to the Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center for rehab. This bird chose to come and stand by me for a long time, and we were able to interact. He was in the rehabilitation large enclosure, and I was outside. It was quite a privilege to finally be able to spend some time with this bird. They make intense eye contact.
As the background was dull earth, I added a nice texture to enhance this portrait.
