Artist's Description
This snowy egret settled into the last light of the day along a mangrove shoreline in Everglades National Park. I was lucky, and moved, to have the privilege of spending some moments with him. Snowy egrets are sadly in decline in the Florida Keys and Florida Everglades.
This image is also part of my visual poem," Reflective Tapestries", and is posted here also in my gallery of the same name. #ReflectiveTapestries.
If you choose to print this image on paper, please spring for one of the premium papers, especially Cool Tone Picture Rag or Somerset Velvet, as the prints are much richer on better paper. This image would also look lovely printed on metal (glossy) or canvas.
Do check this image with the preview you get by clicking on the image, to see how beautiful it is, and what detail is present, even when printed very large. If you like this image, please use any of the buttons (i.e. FB, Twitter, and Google+) to share with your friends and family!
