These tiny translucent flowers are magical in design. They are called Butterfly Sage, and are a Florida Keys Native wildflower. I am photographing a series of native wildflowers. These flowers willingly posed for their portrait, showing me their exquisite nature.

This image will look best printed on paper or canvas. Please spring for one of the premium papers, especially Watercolor Paper, Somerset Velvet, or Photo Rag, as the prints are much richer on better paper. This image would also look lovely printed on canvas.

She practices mindful photography, sometimes known as contemplative photography. Mindful photography involves the practice of being as fully present as possible in the moment of creating an image. The subjects range from landscapes, seascapes, street photography, macro and flower photography, to nature photography, to almost anything. Louise focuses on the encounter within the moment of creating the image, both her encounter with the "subject" of the image, and the eventual encounter a viewer has with the image.
