Artist's Description

While swimming and snorkeling along the mangrove roots in Key Largo, I enjoyed experiencing mangrove roots adorned with tunicates, barnacles, sponges, feather dusters and other reef beings. By mirroring an image I took, I created this Tunicate God. Tunicates are the sole source of potent anti-tumor cancer drugs. This happy, laughing tunicate god always makes me smile.

If you print on paper, I recommend selecting the Watercolor, Picture Rag, or Somerset Velvet or glossy paper, under the Art Prints. The prints are much richer on better paper, and this image will look best on one of the glossy or photographic papers. This image would also look lovely printed on canvas or metal (glossy). My favorite is how it looks printed on Somerset paper.
